Frequently asked questions.

How do I rent the Tipsy Travelers?

CONTACT US!! There are three ways you can contact us; contact page, email or call us. Things that we will need to know when contacting is date of your event, estimated guest count, preferred rental, and beverage service needed.

Do you provide the alcohol for event?

No, we are a “dry hire” bar service. Due to Florida liquor law we are not able to provide the alcoholic beverages, this can keep your cost down because you are in control of what makes you Tipsy.  You can provide your own alcoholic beverages or hire a catering company. If you need recommendations for catering companies, contact us for our preferred vendors. Please note that in Florida catering companies can only provide alcoholic beverages if the food portion of the sale at your event is greater than 51%.

How far is your service area?

We are located in Altamonte Springs, FL and service all of Central Florida. We will travel for a Tipsy time 30 miles outside of the 32716 zip code. There is an additional fee of $1.00 per mile if you would like us to travel further to you.

Can the Tipsy Travelers travel to any location?

Almost, but not all. The Tipsy Tricycle and Two-Wheeler are able to be rented for most indoor and outdoor locations, make sure to get approval from venue.

The Tipsy Trailer will need to have enough room for truck and trailer to pull through and/or turn around. We will also need to have sufficient electricity provided with a standard 110 plug and a 20 amp breaker, if not we will need to discuss a generator. Always contact your event coordinator at your venue for rules on mobile bars.

If a permit is needed at the chosen locations, for the Tipsy Traveler to set up, the client is responsible to provide the permit.

Can we decorate the rented travelers with our decor?

Yes, as long as the decorations do NOT include fire, nails, glue, or objects that will damage the rentals.

What keg do I need to order to be served at my event?

Our rentals are set up with a Sankey D Coupler tap, these are standard for US kegs. Imported beers will require a special tap and we must be notified before you order the keg to make appropriate arrangements. Client is responsible for providing the coupler (tap) so that beer can be dispensed if we are not informed.

We recommend picking up the kegs the morning of your event, and setting them on ice and rock salt ASAP. The colder the beer the better!

Cheers!
